We caught up with Mouna and asked her a few questions about her extraordinary bead-embroidered jewelry line, and her experiences so far working with TAG. Here’s what she said:

Tell us a little bit about your shoppe. 

Beads Of Aquarius, based in Nice, France, offers its customers limited edition collections, and one-of-a-kind pieces, all designed using bead-embroidered techniques and soutache silk. All the jewelry I design is made with passion and love. All pieces are handmade, bead-embroidered, handcrafted vintage, art-deco inspired and old-world style jewelry. My bead-embroidered jewelry pieces are wearable art; I spend many hours completing each piece.


What is your favorite product from your shoppe and why? 
My favorite piece from my collection is my Julia earrings, made with silk and Swarovski crystals. Created using Spring colors, this piece is very feminine and chic, and has already been re-pinned on Pinterest over 250 times!

  

When you’re not handcrafting such unique jewelry, what are your hobbies? 

My hobbies include taking care of my family, cooking for my friends, and of course Yoga and Pilates. I get so much inspiration during meditation and relaxation time.


What do you like best about The Artisan Group? 

For me, The Artisan Group is more than a group, it’s a family full of such talented entrepreneur women from all over the world. TAG opened many doors for me and my brand with such amazing opportunities that I never expected, such as celebrity gifting at the GBK Oscars and Primetime Emmys events, to name few of them. I really recommend TAG to artisans who want to establish their brands internationally.

Mouna recently participated as a display participant in a luxury celebrity gift lounge on September 21-22, 2012 at The W Hotel in Hollywood California, in honor of the The 2012 Primetime Emmys Nominees and Presenters.
