ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Vicky Topp

We caught up with Vicky and asked her a few questions about her handcrafted Swarovski Elements jewelry line, and her experiences so far working with TAG. Here’s what she said:

Tell us a little bit about your shoppe. 

After leaving a job in the corporate world a few years ago I turned my hobby into a full-time job – and I’m loving it. My Krystal Energy jewelry and accessories are made with love and Swarovski Elements. Customers can select from my limited edition pieces or work with me to create “one of a kind” custom pieces. Last year I opened a shop in my town where I am open by chance and by appointment.


What is your favorite product from your shoppe and why? 
I just adore this Crystal and Jet cuff bracelet. Working in this medium (clay) has opened up so many opportunities to create a whole new variety of products. Black and white is always a favorite of mine.

When you’re not designing such gorgeous cuffs, earrings, rings, and necklaces, what are your hobbies? 

I love to spend time with and cook for my family and friends. I have fun dancing at my sister’s Zumba® classes. And, I spend way too much time watching food and cooking shows on TV.


What do you like best about The Artisan Group? 

I am honored to be a member of The Artisan Group. The members are some of the most talented and supportive people I’ve ever met. The opportunities that our leader Valerie gives us are truly amazing. I have been able to boost my brand and get lots of local media coverage thanks to TAG.

Vicky recently participated as a display participant in a luxury celebrity gift lounge on September 21-22, 2012 at The W Hotel in Hollywood California, in honor of the The 2012 Primetime Emmys Nominees and Presenters.
